Privacy Policy for Make Gmail Connector

Effective Date: August 9, 2025

This Privacy Policy explains how the Make Gmail Connector app handles your data. This is a personal OAuth app for integrating my Gmail with Make.com for email automation.

Information We Collect

The app accesses Gmail data (e.g., emails, labels) only to enable automation in Make.com, such as watching for new emails and sending replies. We do not collect or store any personal data beyond what’s needed for the connection.

How We Use Your Information

Data is used solely for personal workflows in Make.com. No data is shared, sold, or used for marketing. Access is limited to the app owner (alon.justintime@gmail.com).

Data Sharing, Transfer, or Disclosure

We do not share, transfer, or disclose Google user data with any third parties, except as required for the app’s functionality through Make.com (e.g., to process email automations). Data is not shared for advertising, analytics, or any other purpose. All use is limited to the owner and disclosed here. In compliance with Google’s API Services User Data Policy, any transfer (if ever needed) would be secure and notified to users.

Data Protection

We use Google’s OAuth 2.0 for secure authentication and take reasonable steps to protect data, including encryption in transit and at rest where applicable. Access is restricted to the app owner, and no sensitive data is stored long-term. We implement measures like secure coding practices and regular reviews to prevent unauthorized access. In case of a breach, affected users would be notified promptly within 72 hours, as per standard data protection guidelines.

Data Retention and Deletion

Data is retained only as long as needed for the automation task (e.g., during the Make.com scenario run, typically seconds to minutes) and is not stored persistently. Upon revocation of access or request, all associated data is deleted immediately via Google’s API, with no backups retained. You can delete data anytime by revoking app access in your Google Account settings > Security > Third-party apps. Retention period for any temporary data is less than 24 hours, after which it is automatically deleted.

Your Rights

You can revoke access anytime via your Google Account settings > Security > Third-party apps. You have the right to request data deletion or access details.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. Check back for changes, and users will be notified of material updates via email.
